Despite Lil Nas X tweeting that his latest Billboard hot shot single, “Montero (Call Me by Your Name),” which is currently #1 on the Top 100, will be pulled off streaming services as soon as Wednesday April 14, reports have suggested otherwise.
The stunt feels like another marketing move from the rapper who’s been making the rounds for the video of the said song following recent reports.
The rapper wrote on Twitter on Tuesday saying, “since call me by your name is no longer working on many streaming services I will be uploading the audio to Pornhub at 3 pm Est” and he even tweeted later on saying he was “not even joking,” sending his fans into a frenzy.

Lil Nas X also went on to plead with followers to go ahead and stream ‘call me by your name’ as hard as possible as it appears it may be off streaming services the following day.
