Legendary footballer, Ronaldinho is set to run for parliament in his homeland, Brazil.
The former Barcelona and AC Milan star has submitted his candidacy to stand for office having first signaled his intent last year.
He will be running under the Brazil Rebublican Party (PRB) and will contest for either the Senate or a position in the Chamber of Deputies in the general election this October.

Meanwhile, the party has signed the documents approving the 38-year-old’s candidacy in Brasilia.
