Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his wife Bolanle Ambode hosted the Queen of the Netherlands in Lagos today. Queen Maxima who posed for a picture with the couple is the first Dutch queen that was not born in Europe.

Queen Maxima’s visit will last for three days as she is the special advocate of the United Nations and will during her visit conduct extensive financial researches amidst lots of important meetings. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and is looking to improve Nigeria’s economy as one of the United Nations advocate.
She arrived Lagos yesterday.
