The La Liga Santander committee has released a statement to condemn the use of offensive chants by Real Valladolid supporters against Barcelona.
This reaction comes two weeks after Barcelona’s 1-0 victory over Valladolid.
“There were three incidents during the game but we also want to highlight the behaviour of the rest of the fans during the game, which was acceptable,” read a statement.

300 fans behind the goal, sat behind a banner which read ‘Fondo Norte 1928’ began singing for 20 seconds derogatory songs about Gerard Pique, his partner Shakira and their child.
At 77 minutes, the same group of fans sang a song for eight seconds which suggested that ‘being from Barcelona is to be abnormal’.
The final incident occurred in the last minute of injury time from the same section, in which the group repeated the ‘f**k Barca’ chant for up to 20 seconds.
