Make-up mogul Kylie Jenner has admitted she had “a lot of help on her way to becoming the youngest self-made billionaire.

Forbes published a story, America’s Women Billionaires, and made Jenner its cover woman as the youngest self-made billionaire at 21. It generated a lot of controversies and criticism online as many pointed out that she grew up in a wealthy and famous family.

Now, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has admitted she wouldn’t have been able to make it on her own without a lot of help from her family and friends including her mom, Kris Jenner.

She tells the New York Times newspaper: “I can’t say I’ve done it by myself. If they’re just talking finances, technically, yes, I don’t have any inherited money. But I have had a lot of help and a huge platform.”

She adds: “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back … It’s the power of social media. I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything.”
