Kim Kardashian shares photos of baptism in Armenia

Kim Kardashian West has shared with fans, some beautiful photos of her baptism during a recent trip to Armenia.

Why Armenia? You might wonder.

That’s because Kim Kardashian has roots from that country. Her father, Robert George Kardashian’s folks are from the European country. And Kim and her family has remained in touch with that part of her origin.

Her elder sister, Kourtney and her children were also baptised during the ceremony.

In the caption of the images, which shared on Instagram, Kim Kardashian reveals that she and her children were baptised at Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Kim explains that the church is “Armenia’s main cathedral which is sometimes referred to as the Vatican of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

According to Kim, the church was built in 303 AD.

Kim didn’t say whether her husband, Kanye West, was also baptised although it’s possible Kanye is already baptised. He was also present during the baptism of his family.

For the baptism, Kim and her kids wore long-flowing gowns and skirt. Kourtney, Kim and North also used traditional scarves to cover their hair, giving off an aura of religious piety. The photos are rather poignant and in a way, awe-inspiring.
