Comedian Kevin Hart did not host the Oscars this year, but he is still making money moves in spite of that.
The stand-up act has announced that he has landed his first-ever Netflix comedy special will debut on the streaming network on Tuesday, 2 April.
Titled Kevin Hart: Irresponsible, the special was taped during a sold-out show at the O2 Arena in London during Hart’s recent Irresponsible Tour and covers Hart joking about “his friends, family, travel … and a year filled with irresponsible behaviour.”
In addition to the special, Hart is also behind an FX comedy series starring Lil Dicky as well as a live-action Monopoly movie, but most of the headlines he made this year were about his old homophobic tweets, which led to even more controversy about whether or not Hart had previously apologised for them.
