Justin Bieber hit a paparazzi by accident with his truck on Wednesday night in Beverly Hills, multiple US news outlets are reporting. Bieber, who had been attending a Hillsong Church service at the Saban Theater, struck the photographer with the front right wheel of his black Ford pickup truck as he was pulling away at around 9:30 p.m PT. Right after the singer collided with the photographer, he hopped out of his car and stayed with the paparazzo, who was clutching his right leg, until the paramedics and police arrived.
Bieber was not arrested or even cited. After speaking to the police, who had cordoned off the area, the singer was allowed to leave. He was given a lift home by a friend, while another individual drove the singer’s big truck. Gossip Cop reports that the unnamed photographer was definitely banged up, but that his injuries are not life-threatening.
The collision comes just two days after Bieber cancelled the remaining 15 concerts of his “Purpose Tour” in the U.S. and Asia. Bieber has also reportedly had his fair share of problems behind the wheel. Just about two weeks ago, he was stopped by cops for using his cell phone while driving his Mercedes wagon in Beverly Hills. He received a citation for that incident. In 2015, Bieber got popped for speeding through Beverly Hills with tinted windows. And before that, the singer was famously arrested in Miami in 2014 for what was dubbed illegal drag racing. Bieber later pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of misdemeanour careless driving.
Bieber has not commented on social media about the latest incident in which he accidentally ran into a photographer. Pictures, of the incidence, however, have since surfaced on social media.
