Alec told a reporter on the red carpet, “They just went off and got married and I don’t know what the deal is.”
He said this during an interview with Access at the 70th Emmys on Sunday. Recall that Hailey debunked rumours after People reported that the young couple were already married.
TMZ has now reported that despite Alec’s claims, Hailey and Justin really aren’t married. Justin and Hailey were spotted at a marriage license courthouse on Thursday where they obtained a marriage certificate that is reportedly valid for sixty days.
Methinks, the press should let the young people be; it’s their life, give them some privacy. Rant over.
