This is coming after he was indicted on 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct following allegation by the police that he staged a hate crime.
The court appearance was to determine if cameras would be allowed for his next appearance when the trial begins.
Judge Leroy Martin Jr. approved cameras for the court appearance on Tuesday but noted that “all bets are off” once a new judge – who has final say on the issue of cameras – is assigned permanently to the case, the Vulture reports.
