Johnny Depp has thanked fans in a handwritten letter for their support in his ongoing defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The star actor, 57, took to Instagram to share a video of himself writing a letter to his fans, thanking them for standing by him through the recent turbulent times in his life.

He wrote: “Hello All! I just wanted to thank you all once again for your constant and loyal support throughout many long and interesting episodes of my life…

This is coming as it was announced that his $50 million defamation case against ex-wife, Amber Heard has been postponed, but not for the reasons that he wanted it to be.

Circuit Court Chief Judge Bruce White postponed the case from 11 January 2021 to 3 May 2021 because of concerns over the Coronavirus.

At the end of August, Johnny Depp asked that the case be postponed because he will be filming the next instalment of ‘Crimes of Grindelwald’ in London.
