The 2020 Golden Globes awards were held in Beverly Hills yesterday, 6 January and hosted by Ricky Gervais.
Many actors took home awards which cemented their perceived expertise at the craft. The biggest winners of the night were Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Joaquin Phoenix, and Renee Zellweger.
First World War drama 1917 won in the Best Picture category, while Renee Zellweger and Joaquin Phoenix won the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor respectively.
