New Zealand's Prime Minister gets engaged to the long-time partner

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardem and her partner Clarke Gayford got engaged over the Easter.

The news was confirmed by the by a spokesperson from her office, according to multiple news sources.

Ardem and Gayford met each other back n 2013 when Clarke had gone to complain to a member of parliament about the then- National Party government’s proposed changes to the security legislation. The couple has a child 10-month old baby together named, Neve Gayford.

The 38-year-old prime minister is the second elected leader to give birth while in office after Pakistan’s Benazir Bhutto in 1990.
