Recall that Omoni Oboli was announced as one of the ambassadors for the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.
In a short video clip released by the organisers of the event, the actress and filmmaker shed some light on the significance of charity organisations such as the TIFF and how their work has helped to propel unknown filmmakers to the world stage.

“I thought about all the people who make this happen… the donors, the sponsors, you know all those people who make sure that arts and culture are being promoted, is being moved forward“, the “My Wife and I” actress said.
“You know I wouldn’t be here today if not for those people“, she added.
