'Incredible feminine power' - Rihanna is the cover star of Harper's Bazaar China [Photos]

Popstar Rihanna is the cover star for Harper’s Bazaar (China) August 2019 Issue!

The lead cover photo is a colourful delight featuring the Wild Thoughts singer in a draped seaweed green dress, a braided updo, and bold neon makeup.

The publication shared the cover on their Instagram page,  describing Rihanna as the ”king of pop”.

The caption reads: ” Being born in Barbados, Rihanna(@badgalriri )has worked her way up from ‘nobody’ to ‘somebody’ with her musical talents. She is now a role model for girls all over the world, and she is even the ‘king of pop.’”

In follow up posts, the publication continues:

“There is always a brave truthfulness on Rihanna( @badgalriri ). She doesn’t care about judgments from others, justing keep in doing what she loves. After four years, Rihanna is back to be our cover star and again shows when western style icon meets eastern aesthetic.

But the publication was not done in their praise of Rihanna, describing her as an “incredible feminine power.”

“Singer, icon, entrepreneur…… Rihanna ( @badgalriri) has different titles and gets more and more influence at the same time,” Harper’s Bazaar China says of Rihanna in their post advertising the cover. “With the influence, she chooses to make a voice for the minority, showing the incredible feminine power,” the magazine adds.
