The president of The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has issued a statement regarding the controversial dealings between the Federal body and Ifeanyi Ubah the CEO of Capital Oil and gas.
Through his media adviser, Pinnick said:
“My Principal wants to make it very clear that at no time did Ifeanyi Ubah pay the salary of Gernot Rohr”.
Then he added:
“As regards any assistance for the visit of Infantino, it will be important for anyone to give specific breakdown of this assistance”.
Ifeanyi Ubah who had earlier stated through his WhatsApp forum that he had helped out the NFF when it was in a financial crisis has now said that he is disappointed by the statements and he will make his position known through his lawyers tomorrow.
