Anthony Joshua finally got his over Andy Ruiz, Miss South Africa became Miss Universe, there was that juicy fight between two social media giants, and seriously, this week was too dramatic.

Miss South Africa, the gorgeous Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe last week. It was such a beautiful moment, and all of Africa came together to celebrate her win.

After she was declared winner, she said: “I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my kind of skin and my kind of hair — was never considered to be beautiful. “I think it is time that that stops today. I want children to look at me and see my face and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine.”

Miss Nigeria was the most excited though, and she couldn’t hide it, so much that she trended on Twitter all day, with many people falling in love with her for her wonderful attitude.

Following his disappointing loss to Andy Ruiz this year, a rematch was held between the two. A rematch that Anthony Joshua won!

The British-Nigerian won by unanimous decision and seriously, Nigerians could not be more proud. He won the fight 117-111 to regain his WBO, WBA, and IBF titles. Congrats again, Anthony Joshua!

There was a huge exchange of words on social media this past week between two social media giants. Yes, I’m talking about the drama between Toke Makinwa and actor, Yomi Black.

Cardi B started it during her visit to Nigeria, but Toke and Yomi stayed to finish it between themselves.

Toke reacted to Nigerians’ behaviour while Cardi was here, and Yomi called her out, asking where she gets the money to live a “baby girl” lifestyle. Toke’s reply was so unexpected, and she had to drop her crown for a bit to answer.

It didn’t end there as Yomi Black issued a (calmer) response, which Toke unlooked.

Disney broke records this week, becoming the first company to make ten billion dollars at the box office in one year. Read that article for some inspiration going into the new year.

Talking about films, actress and singer, Cassie welcomed a child this week with her husband, Alex Fine. They named their little one Frankie Fine, and teased us with glimpses of their baby. Too cute!

On his first birthday, OAP Toolz also shared pictures of her son, chairman, as she calls him, and he looks so cute! He definitely knows how to work the camera.
