'I thought I would be a fisherman' - Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is considered one of the greatest player ever, has revealed his childhood expectations.

The Juventus player, who recently turned 35, sat down for an interview with Canal 11 and spoke about the places he thought he would be when he was a child.

During the interview, Ronaldo revealed that he thought he was going to be a fisherman on the coast of his homeland, Madeira.

He said: “I thought I was going to be a fisherman in Madeira.

“This never came into my mind. I wanted to be a professional football but I didn’t think I was going to win everything I’ve won.”

Considering everything he has achieved, it is amazing to hear Cristiano Ronaldo reveal that he still has big dreams and plans to further his legacy by winning his sixth Champions League.

“To play at Juventus gives me the chance to win it again,” he continued.

“We know it’s difficult, it depends on many factors, but it’s possible because we have a good team.”
