Producer James Cameron mentioned Terminator Six’s working title last month while he and Robert Rodriguez were promoting Alita: Battle Angel, and it has now been confirmed as official.
The title for the new movie in the franchise has been announced as Terminator: Dark Fate.
Cameron’s return to the Terminator franchise will feature his dark new title with a release date of 1 November. This comes despite the fact that Charlie’s Angels hits theatres the exact same day.

Deadpool’s Tim Miller will direct the film. Cameron previously revealed that he trusts Miller to lead the Terminator franchise to what might be its finish line. Describing himself as a “supporting player,” Cameron has called the film Miller’s show.
Directed by Tim Miller and produced by James Cameron, Terminator: Dark Fate stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes and Diego Boneta. The film is scheduled for release on 1 November.
