Curfews have been declared in Lagos State, Osun State, Abia State, Edo State, Plateau State, Ekiti State, Ondo State, and Imo State.
In all these states though, the curfew has not yielded such violent outcomes like the one in Lagos State, which was announced on Tuesday, 20 October.
The protest was first announced before noon, advising people to be indoors before 4 pm in preparation for a 24-hour curfew.
Later, the time was extended to 9 pm. Nonetheless, people were reportedly killed by soldiers at the Lekki Toll Gate around 8 pm.
The aftermath of this has been horrendous. For those in Lagos State, it is best to stay indoors for these five reasons.
1. Hoodlums have reportedly blocked the streets and set up roadblocks.

Driving down from the Gbagada/ Oworonshoki bridge inward Ogudu , I had to buy a green tree branch…so that I would be allowed to pass the roadblocks. Hoodlums trying had to discredit #EndSARS Protests
