'He helped me secure my first show as a solo artiste’ – Daddy Showkey eulogizes Ras Kimono

Showkey who was one of the many guests that turned out at Kimono’s wake said that he has known Kimono for over 30 years and that the Dub Master as Kimono was fondly called was like a father figure to him.

He went on to narrate how Kimono helped him to secure his first gig as a solo artiste after he left his group.
