The production powerhouse has now finally released a moving trailer for the documentary, giving us more insight into what we should expect.
Stolen Daughters: Kidnapped by Boko Haram is about the 276 girls kidnapped from a school in Chibok by the militant group, Boko Haram. It tells the story of the girls’ experience in captivity, their lives after their return, including reunions with family members, as well as the process of coming to terms with what happened to them.
The documentary will air on October 22 on HBO, and will be available to watch on all their on-demand streaming platforms.
