The removal of Harvey Weinstein by the board of the company he had cofounded following reports by the New York Times that revealed decades of sexual assault allegations against him has raised many dusts, with termination of contracts and fear, Hachette Books Group have come out to calm some feathers.
They announced that they will honor contracts with writers who have come to them via Weinstein Books despite the stain the scandal must be causing. They said they were determined to keep considering options that will help them move forward and have placed support of their authors foremost.
