Grammy Awards, which is slated to hold on the 26th of January 2020, is just around the corner and Nigerians have taken to the social media community to post their optimism about Burna Boy winning an award.

Popular Nigerian singer, Burna Boy had a really good year, last year – 2019. The singer who made his debut into the Nigerian music industry in 2010 is indeed seeing his hard work pay off.

On 27 November 2019, Burna Boy’s nomination for a Grammy award under the World Music category was announced on Grammy Awards’ website.

Nominated alongside Burna Boy are Angelique Kidjo for ‘Celia,’ Altin Gün for ‘Gece,’ Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley for ‘What Heat,’ and Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet for ‘Fanm D’Ayiti.’

The loyal fans of the singer have taken out time to wish him well in the upcoming award’s night.
