British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has been arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over her alleged involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes

According to Sky News, she has been charged with aiding in the “sexual exploitation and abuse” of minors by Jeffrey Epstein.

Since Epstein died in August 2019, Maxwell has kept a low profile but she was arrested on Thursday, 2 July in New Hampshire.

Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of trafficking minors over a period of 20 years but he was found dead in his prison cell in what looked like a murder-suicide.

Some of Epstein’s alleged victims have said that Maxwell lured them into Epstein’s circle where they were then sexually abused by Epstein and his friends.

Maxwell dated Epstein in the past and was paid to manage some of his estates. She has denied any wrongdoing and claimed that the charges against her are “absolute rubbish”.

However, victims have come forward to claim that Maxwell arranged for them to have sexual encounters with Prince Andrew, Epstein and others.

A court document says that Maxwell “assisted, facilitated and contributed to Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of minor girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to recruit, groom, and ultimately abuse” girls under the age of 18.

The court documents also allege that Maxwell lied to the court by claiming she did not know what she was talking about when asked if Epstein was involved in recruiting underage girls for sexual massages.
