George Clooney, 57, was seen being helped by his wife Amal Clooney, 40, to board a private jet.

They were on their way out of Sardinia on Thursday morning, days after he was injured in a scooter crash.

The actor, who was severely injured in the scooter accident when a driver ploughed into him, looked frail as he leaned on the people around him and on the rails to help himself up the jet stairs. Scratches sustained in the accident, which occurred on Tuesday, were also seen on his arms.

Amal Clooney carried their 1-year-old twin daughter Ella, while a nanny carried their son Alexander, 1, as they made their way to the jet.
