This is the first child the couple will be having together via a secret surrogacy. “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night (11/7) via surrogate,” the NBA star announced on social media.
The couple had been trying to have a kid for years, with Union struggling with infertility and suffering from 8 miscarriages.
“I have had 8 or 9 miscarriages,” Union wrote in her memoir last year. “For 3 years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant. I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
Dwyane Wade already has 3 boys from his previous marriage and an ex-girlfriend.
