AC Milan had played 15 games in the Serie A this season without a single loss. Their unbeaten run came to an end on Wednesday, 6 January 2021 when fourth-placed Juventus handed the San Siro landlords their first defeat.

Federico Chiesa stole the spotlight with an inspiring performance that began with a stinging shot in the opening minutes. The Fiorentina loanee then scored the opener for Juventus to shock Milan at home.

AC Milan levelled thanks to a Davide Calabria strike from the edge of the box but this did not dampen Juve’s spirit and they continued to press. Meanwhile, Milan also surged forward to keep their visitors on their heels.
