Vitale’s family member reportedly told The Blast that she does not do hardcore drugs and is not the person to blame for Lovato’s alleged overdose. They are shocked fans are pointing the finger at the 28-year-old dancer, and want to make it clear she’s ‘far from a druggie.’
The family member added that Demi does what she wants, and she made the decision on her own to party that night.
Many outlets reported on Thursday that the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer had been out celebrating Vitale’s birthday the night before she was transported to the hospital for a medical emergency. Since then, Lovato’s fans have been targeting her close friend and backup dancer, even making death threats.
