Bibiana announced her new status in a message posted on Facebook on Thursday (American time).
“Became an American citizen this morning,” she wrote.
Bibiana Ohio was the winner of the 1991 Miss Nigeria contest. She speaks about six languages including Spanish and Chinese.
She had a brief stint in Nollywood and worked with Rhythm 93.7Fm as an OAP before relocating to the United States. She is blessed with a daughter, Melisa.
Bibiana announced in 2015 that she has gotten herself a luxurious car while sharing pictures of the car on social media.
Regina Askia, also a former beauty queen, announced last year that she has become an American citizen, 16 years after relocating to the US.
