Borussia Dortmund‘s Erling Haaland heads last-gasp winner after coming on from the bench for his side at the Esprit Arena on Saturday in the recently resumed German League. The youngster kept his team’s hope alive in the race for the Bundesliga title this season.
In a game that was frantic from start to finish, only one team could end up with all three points on the night and it was all kudos to the effort of the goal machine, Erling Haaland who scores for Borussia Dortmund.
The home side, Fortuna Dusseldorf, was unlucky on the night, hitting the post twice late on during the game. However, Borussia Dortmund’s Raphael Guerreiro found the net midway through the second half with a fine volley ruled out by the VAR (Video Assistant Referee).
The result of the match means that Bayern Munich cannot secure the Bundesliga title this weekend as Dortmund have moved to within four points of Bayern before their evening game against Borussia Monchengladbach.
