Well, it could be a hard drive, who knows? But at least it’s providing some entertainment to Nigerians on social media.
What with ‘fuel’ scarcity, a practically non-existent electricity aka ‘nepa‘, darkness, mosquitoes, the high cost of living; it’s one of the bleakest Christmas periods for most Nigerians. So, oh yes, it’s totally diverting to see a picture of Yemi Osibanjo, the vice president of Nigeria, carrying what looks suspiciously like a power pack, even if we are not sure it was a power pack.
So Nigerians, famous for “suffering and smiling” must have their jokes. Even when there are grimaces at the jokes. Because everyone one of us would like the issue of ‘nepa’ wahala to be a thing of the past – like the way queuing at old NITEL booths to makes phone calls is just a dim in our memories. Hmm, one can only dream.
See the picture and decide for yourself.
