E! wants to bet that you’ll be interested in a new show with models as influencers.
The NBC Universal Cable network plans to launch an exclusive Fashion Week documentary series on September 4, which follows nine models preparing for the fall runway season.
The series has David Caplan (Jersey Shore Unleashed), Will Staeger (Being Serena) and Gennifer Gardiner (Rich Kids of Beverly Hills) as executive producers and will cover topics like balancing boyfriends with careers, moving from Los Angeles to the Big Apple and planning staycations with friends.
Though Model Squad is unlikely to displace Keeping Up With the Kardashians as E!’s best-performing show, the 30-second promo features the models skeet shooting and going behind the scenes on photo shoots.
