Nigerian singer, WurlD, has been dropping songs weekly now for the past 2 weeks gearing towards his highly anticipated “Afrosoul” EP.
First, he dropped “Love Nobody” and then “Ghost Town”. Two weeks later, he’s dropped another single off of the “Afrosoul” EP titled ‘Wayo’ and it was released on the 8th of May 2020.
Wayo (Kpe Le Wu) is the third released single off of the “Afrosoul” EP. Wayo is a local word which means to deceive or cheat someone. On the song, Wurld pleads with his lover not to use and play him because he was obviously going to do anything she wanted him to do.
This single, “Wayo”, was produced by Kel P and Teflon Zinc Fence.
