Odunsi The Engine is a young producer and singer from Lagos Stare. He is a forerunner of the growing Alte scene. He represents a new generation of artists from Africa who are shaping the music industry from the regular sound it is used to.

Odunsi was thrust into the spotlight after having seemed to have worked with everyone in the alternative music scene and turned up on MI Abaga’s Rendezvous.

On the 12th of October 2018, Odunsi (The Engine) released a 14-track album titled “Rare” It was a compilation that drew inspiration from ‘80s and ‘90s pop culture as well as personal reflections.

Odunsi had a lot of artists who wanted to identify with his sound and its why he had guests like Nasty C and Santi, Davido, Runtown, Zamir Los, Amaarae, and Solis, etc. featuring on his album.
