Prolific Nigerian hip-hop artiste Dark Poet returns to the music scene featuring two heavyweights – Falz Tha BahdGuy and M.I Abaga – on his new joint titled Ripple Effect.

The song was released on New Year Day 1 January 2020 and it’s the first single off of Dark Poet’s forthcoming EP, No Cap.

Dark Poet, who had previously delivered verses on Da Grin’s Make Doe, Gino’s Pain Plus Work and a host of other hit tracks, drops his first body of work since he released a free unmixed mixtape – a compilation of various tracks recorded over time.

Ripple Effect is a good comeback for the rapper who has been under the radar for long. The song serves a serious message on the brutality and corruption common with the Nigerian Police force these days, painting a mental picture on the ills and travails of the police in the society. A definite to the #EndSARS movement.
