Starboy Wizkid, shortly after leaving EME Music, signed a recording contract with RCA Records and on the 23rd of December 2016, dropped his official debut single under the brand titled “Daddy Yo”.

Daddy Yo was a massive tune to introduce Wizkid into a new family and it’s his first released single off of the album “Sounds From the Other Side (SFTOS)“. The massive hit single is a mix of Afrobeats, reggae, and dancehall.

Wizkid is not new to breaking new grounds and his song Daddy Yo was a part of the soundtrack for British-Nigerian actor John Boyega’s film, Pacific Rim Uprising.
