On 9 November 2017, dancehall singer Patoranking released one of the biggest tracks of the year in “Available”, produced by DJ Catzico and Vista.
Patoranking adopts the clipped flow of gqom, a genre of electronic dance music that emerged from Durban, South Africa chanting “I’m available” in a manner that flows right into the mix.
“Available” has a vibrant, unrestrained call to the dancefloor, and whenever the song comes on whether on the radio or in the clubs, it’s always time to shake the body.
