Two years ago, Filmmaker Peter Berg was selected to create a documentary about Rihanna’s life, which was scheduled for release in 2017. Unfortunately, the documentary didn’t hit the screen.
In an interview with Slash film, Berg said: “I think she’s an extraordinary young woman and it really is kind of a pretty comprehensive profile of what goes into making her this talent that she is.”
Berg added that the film could be ready for public release in about 2 months. The promotional material for the documentary initially announced in 2016, promised an unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon.
