DMX gives first performance few days after prison release

Just a few days after he was released from prison, rapper DMX has gone back to doing what he loves to do best.
He showed up at Mr Ciao in Staten Island, New York City where he performed his rap songs, Ruff Ryders’ Anthem, Where the Hood At, Party Up (Up in Here) backed by DJ Finesse. He was dressed in camouflage, a gold chain and a skull cap.
Ja Rule was the slated performer for that night but he cancelled and was replaced by DMX. Watch the video below.
DMX was released on Friday, a few days before his slated release date. He spent a year in prison for tax fraud. In addition to his sentence, he is to pay $2.3 million in restitution.
