Disney has debuted the trailer for its High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (yes, that’s the real title).
Disney unveiled the trailer at the D23 Expo on Friday.
The show is not a sequel to the original High School Musical and neither does the original cast feature in the show.
The 10 episode season is set at East High, where the franchise began, featuring both new songs and acoustic “rehearsal-room” interpretations of High School Musical numbers.
In the trailer, the students of East High are ready for their time in the spotlight as they learn their school will be putting on a production of High School Musical.
