Unlike humans that can climax many times and live to tell the tale, a bee cannot.

According to the website, Veterinary Hub, When a male honey bee climaxes during sex, his testicles explode and it dies.

The mating of bees is very interesting and shocking. First of all, the Queen Bee is selected and worker bees feed the Queen Bee. After the Queen Bee reaches adulthood, it chooses a dozen mating male drones (out of tens of thousands eligible bachelors in the colony).

The drones that mate with the Queen Bee are not so lucky because during sex when the male bee reaches to its climax its testicles explode and it dies, and the genitals remain inside the Queen Bee.

So for male bees, they only get to have sex once in their lifetime and they must make the most of their single shot.
