Snakes can sense a coming earthquake from 120km (75 miles) away and stay for 5 days before it happens.

According to BBC, before an earthquake occurs, snakes start behaving queerly, often moving strangely and smashing into walls as if they’re trying to escape. They could even move out of their nests in the cold of winter

Of all the creatures on the Earth, snakes are perhaps the most sensitive to earthquakes.
