Did you know? An Australian man once tried to sell New Zealand on eBay

A prankster in Brisbane Australia attempted to sell the country of New Zealand on eBay, the popular online auction site.

After 6,000 hits and 22 bids, the price quickly climbed to A$3,000(£1,230), until eBay managers pulled the auction from the website because it was a violation of eBay’s policy.

Apparently, the prankster didn’t think much of New Zealand, his visit to the country probably didn’t make a big impression on him. And I totally don’t know what to think of the prankster or the bidders.
