Demi Lovato claims she's haunted by 'Survival's Guilt' in the wake of DMX's overdose

Demi Lovato was left in a state of shock after learning about the sorry case of DMX‘s overdose which has left the rapper in critical condition in the hospital, reminding her of how lucky she is to still be alive.

Demi also had a similar experience when she overdosed and it nearly cost her her precious life.

She relapsed in the summer of 2018, despite six years of sobriety. Lovato overdosed on opioids on July 24, causing three strokes, a heart attack, pneumonia, multiple organ failure, permanent brain damage, and lasting vision problems.

The Camp Rock movie star also revealed how she struggled under the immense pressure of the media and music industry, eating disorders, and self-harm to name a few.

However, she has found a way to move past that and she is now talking about her ordeals in her incredible documentary, ‘Dancing With the Devil,’ and her new album, “Dancing With The Devil…The Art of Starting Over.”

She also made strides for the show with one of the highlights being her sincere reaction to X’s current state. DMX is on life support and it does not look good.

Lovato could see the parallels in her own life and claim she suffers from survivor’s guilt realizing she could have been in DMX’s state or even worse.

Demi made a spectacular one with her latest autobiographical album, “Dancing With the Devil”, making one thing glaring and that is NOT being affected by the OD.

Even her voice sounds better than ever.

The singer also opens up about how she’s handling recovery, saying it’s not with abstinence.

She still smokes weed and drinks alcohol but in moderation.
