Nigerian singer and CEO of DKM records, D’Banj has signed a new deal with International record label, Sony Music Africa.
The Kokomaster who only recently pushed back the release of his new single is currently in South Africa where the deal was sealed by both parties.
Though there aren’t any details yet, an insider close to the deal confirmed that indeed, the singer has officially joined the Sony Music Africa family.
Michael Ugwu, a Sony Music Entertainment West Africa lead posted images from the signing on Instagram with the caption: “DKM + Sony Music Africa. This one no be welcome this one nah welcome back #i #believe”

This would be the second time D’Banj would be signing a deal with the label. D’Banj signed a deal with Sony Music Africa in 2012, though not much was heard about it afterwards.
