Davido reportedly arrested in Dubai for smashing a bottle on someone's head

According to the reports on social media and Instablog9ja, the victim approached a tipsy Davido in an elevator. The singer quickly lost his cool and a scuffle erupted during which he broke a bottle on the victim’s head.

The victim was quickly rushed to the hospital after which Davido was reportedly arrested.

Davido and his team have, however, denied reports that he was arrested. The singer, who is promoting his album, A Good Time, shared a picture of himself on his social media page where he was posing in an airplane.

He was on his way to London, where he went to show support for Mayorkun, who had a concert in London on Sunday, 17 November.

This is not the first time that this kind of news will be linked to Davido.

Earlier, during this same trip to Dubai where he performed at the One Africa Music Festival concert, Instablog also reported that Davido had slapped a man who attempted to take a picture with him.

Also, back in 2017, a fight broke out between Davido and Wizkid in Dubai. Wizkid was reportedly injured by a member of Davido’s crew.

Dubai recently saw a huge outpouring of celebrities into it for so many reasons ranging from the One Africa Music festival to the wedding between Big Brother Nigeria’s first-ever married couple, Bambam and Teddy A.

If this report is true, then Davido’s year is about to end very dramatically.
