Davido receives recognition from CNN for his philanthropy

On Saturday, the singer was featured on CNN for his latest song, D & G which he sang in collaboration with Summer Walker. The song is off his latest album, A Good Time, and just recently, he released the colourful visuals for the song.

He went ahead to announce that proceeds from the song would be donated to the fashion house, Dolce & Gabbana to provide funds for research into the COVID-19 pandemic.

During an interview with entertainment reporter, Chloe Melas, Davido explained exactly why he was giving the donation. Apart from this, she also asked him about his fiancee, Chioma’s recent Coronavirus diagnosis.

Since January when the deadly virus was first discovered in Wuhan, China, it has spread to over 200 countries and killed over two hundred thousand people worldwide so far. Scientists continue to try to find a cure for it.
