Davido promises to free Naira Marley from EFCC custody

Following the arrest of musician Naira Marley, real name Afeez Fashola, on Thursday by officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for questioning OBO and DMW boss Davido has appeared to say he would get the singer freed.

Writing on Instagram, Davido says: “#MARLIAN !! Freee bro!!!! Nothing spoil!! I got u!!!”

Naira Marley’s arrest is speculated to be in connection with his recently released single,  Am I A Yahoo Boy, which also features featuring Zlatan Ibile.

Prior to the release of the visual on Thursday, the singer has made comments on social media in support of Internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Boys.

His antics earned him condemnation from the general public both from celebrities and fans.
