Davido gifts N1million to artist who edited his viral photo [VIDEO]

Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke has gifted one million naira to the young artist Odukoya Wasiu Abiodun who edited a controversial photo of the singer and his counterpart, Wizkid.

Davido reposted the edited photo, which went viral and seemed to have started a controversial drama on social media.

The photo had Davido putting on traditional wear called agbada with a cap on his head. One can spot stains of white chalk on his face too.

Standing beside Davido is Ojuelegba singer, Wizkid, who also has stains of white chalk on his head and a white wrapper tied around him.

Apparently, Davido loved the photo and sent one million naira to Abiodun in appreciation. The artist subsequently took to his social media to announce the unexpected gesture.

Sharing a video of himself surrounded by ecstatic family members and friends, Abiodun captions it: “Someone tell me this is a dream! Bcos I can’t just believe this is happening to me right now @davidoofficial made today the best day of my life !!!! @davidoofficial sent me 1MILLION NAIRA !!!! CASH.
